Job Description
We re excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Junior Designer with 1-2 years of experience who can help shape the visual identity of our initiatives at THT. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for creating engaging visuals and an interest in wildlife. Youll have the chance to work on various design projects, from social media campaigns to editorial reports, while maintaining a consistent and compelling visual tone across all THT programs.
- Develop reports for THT s programs and initiatives.
- Create designs for social media posts and the website to engage and inform audiences using the tools of science communication.
- Collaborate with different teams to visualize content in diverse formats, including infographics, posters, resources, and standees.
- Design promotional materials for THT initiatives and special campaigns.
- Manage projects from start to finish with attention to detail and high standards.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- A strong understanding of colour theory, composition, and design fundamentals.
- Interest in nature, wildlife, or science (though a career in wildlife is not required).
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Effective communication skills and accountability in meeting project goals.
