Job Description
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components for packaging machinery.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of mechanical equipment used in the packaging process by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Create detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and specifications using CAD software.
- Develop and manage the installation of new machinery and systems, ensuring all mechanical aspects are aligned with production goals.
- Work closely with production teams to optimize machine performance and ensure high-quality packaging output.
- Maintain mechanical equipment documentation, including manuals, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical operations.
- Assist in sourcing and procuring materials and parts for machine repair or new installations.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at upgrading or enhancing packaging equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
- 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the packaging industry or related manufacturing fields.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
