About the job:
Role:
- Design and own end-to-end the Last-mile unit costs strategy to meet targets.
- Managing everything related to the last-mile delivery cycle including 3pls.
- Responsible for last-mile delivery SLA success ratio
- Enhancing the customer experience
- Mentoring Delivery Centre Managers
- Liaising with multiple teams, such as Finance & Customer Service, and HO for smooth operations
- Working as a part of project teams to plan and implement new initiatives at Delivery Centers
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
- plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service
- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with key operations vendors
- Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
Requirements:
- PG in Business Management is a must
- 2+ years of proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
