Role Description :

Thapovan Info Systems Inc is seeking a Java Lead Developer to join our Chennai team.

The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of developers, design and maintain robust Java-based applications, optimize MS SQL databases, and contribute to application enhancements using Node.js and design patterns.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on Java Servlets.

- Optimize and manage MS SQL databases for performance and reliability.

- Lead a team of developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Mentor and support team members in technical and professional growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy solutions.

- Optionally work with Node.js and design patterns to enhance application functionality.

- Implement and uphold agile methodologies in project workflows.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java programming, with expertise in Java Servlets and MS SQL.

- Leadership Skills : Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.

- Technical Skills : Familiarity with Node.js and design patterns is highly desirable.

- Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Soft Skills : Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Additional Knowledge : Exposure to cloud technologies and agile methodologies is an advantage.
