Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability to support business strategy.
• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Analyze financial performance against budget, identifying variances and providing actionable recommendations.
• Develop, maintain, and update financial models to forecast future financial performance.
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior management, providing insight into financial results and business strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to various business units and departments.
• Monitor and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.

Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables).
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
• Expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
• Ability to present complex financial data clearly to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Manages multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a changing environment and adapt to new financial tools, processes, or strategies.

Skills & Experience:

• 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related financial functions.
