Automation Engineer - TypeScript & Playwright

The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Relevant Experience: 5 Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.

- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.

- Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure software quality.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement best practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts and provide timely resolutions.

- Document and report test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.

- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing and apply them as appropriate.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes

- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g Git).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment
