Test Manager

Test Strategy and Planning:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test strategies, test plans, and testing approaches for software projects.
• Identify automation opportunities and define the scope of automated testing efforts.

1. Automation Framework Design:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks tailored to project requirements and technologies.
• Implement best practices and standards for automation testing.
2. Test Script Development:
• Develop automated test scripts using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Ensure test scripts are robust, maintainable, and scalable.
3. Integration and CI/CD:
• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate testing in deployment pipelines.
4. Test Execution and Reporting:
• Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects accurately.
• Monitor test execution and troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts or test environments.
5. Quality Assurance Practices:
• Promote and implement quality assurance best practices, including code reviews, test code coverage analysis, and test data management.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and automation guidelines.
6. Training and Mentorship:
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to automation engineers and testing teams.
• Share expertise in automation testing techniques, tools, and trends.
7. Continuous Improvement:
• Evaluate and implement new automation tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the automation testing framework.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in software testing or automation are a plus.

2. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
3. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
4. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
