Java Architect - Spring (10-12 yrs)

About The Role :

We are a product company seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise-scale applications.

The successful candidate will work on exciting projects and collaborate with talented professionals in a supportive and friendly work environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of Java Spring-based applications using Postgres, Kafka and other modern-day technologies on microservices stack.

- Knowledge on frameworks like Spark and Play would be additional advantage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain high quality code standards.

- Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.

- Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support product features and integrations.

- Perform performance tuning and optimization of software systems.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

- Continuously improve software engineering processes and methodologies.

- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in Java Spring development.

- Experience of writing Unit and Integration Tests with framework like Junit and Mockito.

- Strong proficiency in Postgres (preferably or any relational database like MySQL/Oracle also) and Kafka.

- Experience with AWS.

- Prior experience in designing, performance tuning, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications.

- Experience with tools like Dynatrace and New Relic.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
