Job Description
- The Tendering Engineer is responsible for leading the tendering process

- Cost Estimation:Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical engineering projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs
- Utilize cost estimation software and tools to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
- Bid Preparation:Develop comprehensive tender proposals that meet client requirements and specifications
- Prepare technical and commercial documentation for submission, ensuring compliance with tendering guidelines
- Collaboration:Coordinate with internal teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to gather necessary information for bid preparation
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and other external partners to obtain quotes and ensure cost accuracy
- Risk Assessment:Identify and assess potential risks associated with the project and incorporate risk mitigation strategies into the tender proposal
- Client Interaction:Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients to clarify project requirements and address queries
- Maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the tendering process
- Deadline Management:Ensure timely submission of tender proposals, adhering to project deadlines and client requirements
- Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies to enhance the competitiveness of bids
- Provide feedback on tender outcomes for continuous improvement of the tendering process
