Job Description :
Role : V&V Test Engineer
Experience : 3-5 years
Location : Pune
Domain : V&V Testing, Automotive Electronics
Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CANDiva, vFlash, and PTC.
- Ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot these tools for optimal performance during testing.
- Strong understanding of UDS, CAN, and CANFD protocols, including their implementation in automotive systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret protocol traces for debugging and validation purposes.
- Proficient in Software Quality Testing (SWQT) methodologies and practices.
- Experience with Software Integration Testing (SWIT) is an added advantage.
- Ability to ensure adherence to ASPICE standards during the testing lifecycle.
- CAPL scripting experience to develop and optimize test scripts for automated testing.
- Proficiency in using debuggers such as Lauterbach and iSystem for troubleshooting software issues.
- Hands-on experience with VTest Studio to create and execute automated test scenarios.
- Expertise in designing and documenting test cases based on system and software requirements.
- Proficient in automating repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Capability to maintain a repository of reusable test cases for future projects.
- Experience in executing various types of testing such as functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASPICE-defined test disciplines, including SWE5.0 (Unit Testing) and SWE6.0 (Integration Testing).
- Ability to document and report test results, including defect tracking and resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of VTest Studio and CANoe tools for system validation and testing.
- Strong understanding of software (SW) and system (SYS) architecture in automotive systems.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including their components and functions.
- ISTQB Foundation Level (ISTQB-FL) Certified Tester certification is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in automotive standards or tools would be an advantage.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure test coverage and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and system engineers, to ensure integrated testing.
- Ability to present test findings and suggest improvements to stakeholders effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in automotive testing tools and methodologies.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
