Moodle Developer Instructional Designer Year 7 Mathematics WFH

Role & responsibilities

• Develop interactive Moodle lessons and quizzes for Year 7 mathematics (algebra, geometry, numeracy, etc.)
• Implement gamification strategies (badges, leaderboards, progress tracking, interactive scenarios)
• Align content with curriculum standards while ensuring accessibility
• Create auto-graded assessments and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with educators to refine pedagogical approaches
• Update content based on feedback and performance metrics

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Moodle course development and instructional design
• Proven track record of gamifying educational content (portfolio required)
• Strong technical skills: Moodle LMS, H5P, SCORM, basic HTML/CSS
• Deep understanding of Year 7 mathematics curriculum (UK/India/Australia/Intl)
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for 11–12-year-old learners
• Fluent English communication skills
