Urgent Tekla Modeler / Detailer

Tekla Detailers with 0-3 years experience required to work from our Chennai office. The job involves preparation of fabrication, erection drawings using Tekla Structures - you may undertake in-office training on the software, as the first phase of the job. We can & will teach you the software & how to draw. But we cannot teach you how to think & process info - that is a skill you need to come with. Seeking only candidates currently located around Chennai / in TN. This is a medium to long term engagement - it takes 6 months of training on the software to become productive & proficient, which we will fully train you on. If you just need a temporary job & income, please avoid applying.

'Nice to Have' skills:

1. Be familiar with design drawing.

2. Be familiar with member placement and basic steel connections.

3. General knowledge in structural Steel Fabrication and Erection process.

4. A Good Team Player, will be required to work on various shifts.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. You have cleared your graduation - Diploma or Degree with NO arrears / supplementary papers. If you have arrears & clear the interview, you may be placed on hold & hiring completed only after you clear exams.

2. You are currently located in Tamil Nadu OR outside TN but within a couple of hours of Chennai metro area.

3. You agree to take our online aptitude test (remotely) - covering basic arithmetic & geometry. We do not hire without testing. If an applicant refuses to take the test, they have no possibility of an interview or hire. Do NOT apply if you cannot take the online test.

Selection Process.

As a new user to TLMR kindly follow the following steps to complete your registration process.

1. Go to our Testing URL: https://training.tek1.com.au/login/index.php (Copy paste link to a new tab)
2. Click the button: 'Create New Account'
3. Enter a user name & password of your choice. If the username already exists, please try another.
4. Enter your valid email address & your official First Name & Surname.
5. Create your account. In your inbox, open the email from the System Administrator at Tek1, open the web address link in the email. This will confirm your account & login. If you haven't received it immediately, check your junk mail box or let us know.
6. Now go to the URL: https://training.tek1.com.au/mod/quiz/view.php?id=115 (Copy paste link to a new tab)
7. Under ' Interview Test from home' at bottom of page, enter Enrolment key: Hometest@2025
8. Enroll. You will see a page subtitled ' Interview Test from home'. Important: Read the instructions.
9. When ready, take the quiz by clicking the button: 'Attempt quiz now'.
10. Complete the quiz & submit.
11. After the quiz is completed we will contact you if you have cleared the test and eligibility criteria we will contact you.
