Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver remote technical support to Teksalah customers, ensuring a seamless and responsive support experience.
• Take full ownership of reported customer issues, following through to resolution with diligence and professionalism.
• Effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify appropriate solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide prompt, clear, and accurate feedback to customers, ensuring their concerns are addressed efficiently.
• Contribute to a robust knowledge base by documenting solutions in the form of tech notes and articles.
• Recommend innovative and effective solutions, focusing on enhancing the functionality of applications and systems.
• Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in offering solutions and workarounds tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with the Network Team in the design, installation, upgrading, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues in customer environments.
• Offer expert assistance with similar technologies for both new and existing customer deployments.
• Coordinate support coverage for assigned cases, ensuring seamless handling during planned down time.

Required Personal Skills:

• A self-motivated professional with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and rapidly growing environment.
• Experience in providing remote technical support, coupled with excellent verbal, non-verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills to ensure outstanding customer interactions.
• A demonstrated aptitude for quickly understanding customer environments and third-party products, enabling the extension of functionality to address new and evolving requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a collaborative approach to identifying, defining, and resolving issues, including determining the most effective course of action.
• Capable of executing network-related project tasks independently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Required Technical Skills:

• Ability to quickly analyse and respond to customer security threats with precision and efficiency.
• Strong foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, switches, and routers.
• Knowledge in network security, including firewalls and associated security protocols.
• Demonstrated capability to execute network-related project tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Practical experience or familiarity with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Proficiency in configuring and establishing internet connectivity on firewalls.
• Experience in configuring Unified Threat Management (UTM) profiles for internet firewall policies.
• Knowledge in configuring VPNs between firewalls and routers for secure and seamless connectivity.
• Certifications in CCNA R&S and CCNP are required to validate technical expertise.
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred.
