Footwear Innovation Engineer

Position Summary: The Footwear Innovation Engineer will lead the research, design, and development of cutting-edge footwear concepts, focusing on innovative solutions to enhance comfort, durability, and technology integration.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop footwear structures that maximize comfort, functionality, and durability.
• Integrate advanced technologies such as self-offloading mechanisms for diabetic footwear, and pressure-regulation systems.
• Coordinate with materials and biomedical engineers for health-focused designs.
• Lead prototyping processes, including the use of 3D printing for design iteration and rapid testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with 3D printing techniques.
• Understanding of biomechanics and ergonomics, particularly in wearable technologies.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in integrating innovative solutions into wearable products.
• Experience with prototyping and product testing within an R&D environment.
