Job Description:
About the company: Foreign MNC into Ingredients Business (Human & Animal)
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the sales growth in India and manage the activity of a local distributor including imports, logistics, customer service and quality management.
- Develop and execute the India strategy.
- Manage direct strategic clients to maximize the potential and service level.
- Liaise with regional and global functional teams to execute elements of the strategy as required including marketing, technical, lobbying and other business-related activities.
- Structure the sales efforts for India and ensure the country delivers the results including budgeting and all other sales pipeline activities to develop leads, convert them to prospects and maximize the conversion through to sales.
- Ensure the country sales effort is correctly mapped in Salesforce and Power BI and make sure these data sources are always in line with the country level dialogue around customer activity.
- Build the customer base as the sales grow ensuring a suitable balance between distributor managed accounts and direct managed key accounts.
- Divide activities between account management and business development to ensure a sales pipeline that is at all times able to deliver on future growth needs.
- Manage distributors to ensure focus on krill sales and deliver against agreed budgets.
- Own the country level strategy and develop clear KPIs.
- Ensure staff and distributors have clear accountability that aligns with the strategy (e.g. OKR's) and are reviewed in line with company expectations.
- Allocate resources suitably to ensure we maximize the output from it at all times.
- Provide strategic recommendations and own the implementation of the country level strategies.
- Facilitate marketing activities in-country including trade shows and customer related events.
- Provide guidance to the distributor through day-to-day issues of market growth - management of quality issues, supply chain & logistics management, financial management & general admin (rollout of head office initiatives, feedback for regional and global projects).

Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in health or pharma ingredient space
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in leadership roles leading staff
- Experience scaling up companies in the Indian market
