Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Azure Cyber Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud architectures for business-critical applications and infrastructure.

In this role, you will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in the cloud while aligning security frameworks with business and compliance objectives.

You will serve as the go-to expert for Azure security services and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive secure cloud adoption across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Security Design :

- Design and implement secure cloud solutions using Azure Security Services (e.g, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud).

- Create Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and solutions leveraging Azure AD and Conditional Access.

- Develop security reference architectures for applications, data, and infrastructure on Azure.

Governance & Compliance :

- Ensure cloud deployments comply with industry standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and CIS benchmarks.

- Define and implement security governance frameworks to monitor risk, performance, and compliance across Azure resources.

Threat Management & Incident Response :

- Build and manage threat detection, response, and logging solutions using Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.

- Collaborate with SOC teams to analyze security events and lead incident response activities.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud workloads.

Data Protection & Encryption :

- Implement encryption strategies using Azure Key Vault, Azure Disk Encryption, and Azure Information Protection.

- Ensure data security policies for storage, databases, and backups align with compliance requirements.

Security Automation & DevSecOps :

- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Automate compliance checks and security policies using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and ARM templates.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Mentorship :

- Partner with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure security best practices across cloud workloads.

- Provide technical leadership and training on Azure security services to internal teams.

- Support security audits and present findings to executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Azure Security Services, including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, and Application Gateway.

- Strong knowledge of IAM, Zero Trust Architecture, and Conditional Access policies using Azure AD.

- Hands-on experience with threat detection, SIEM systems, and incident response workflows.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps).

- Understanding of network security principles, including VPNs, firewalls, and DDoS protection.

- Hands-on experience working with SOC Operations center with MDR, XDR ( Mandatory ).

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 3 years focused on Azure cloud security.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale cloud environments with security and compliance responsibilities.

- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing security challenges.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work in agile, collaborative environments with cross-functional teams.
