QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Java to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring software quality. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Design and execute test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand project requirements, create test plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Execute regression tests for every release to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Monitor and analyze test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.
Continuously improve the automation framework by implementing best practices and integrating new tools or technologies.
Participate in code reviews to ensure test code is of high quality and follows best practices.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automated testing techniques and tools.


Requirements

BE or B.Tech or Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and experience with Java programming.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Certifications in QA or automation testing (e.g., ISTQB).
