We are currently seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer - Offshore Structure to join our Chennai Team, and this position will be directly reporting to Head of the department Civil & Structural.

About the mission we offer you:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 6-10 years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency in SACS Pro software is required. Preferred experience includes Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer industries. The candidate must be well-versed in Indian and International codes (American, British, Euro codes) and possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Responsibilities include designing structures and foundations, ensuring deliverables meet project schedules and quality standards, guiding the drafting team, resolving inter-discipline comments and clashes, and addressing site queries/issues.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, with 6-10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Master s Degree in Engineering (M. E. /M. Tech - structures) preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas is preferred
• Shall be well versed with Indian and International codes
• Shall be familiar with Analysis and Design software SACS , STAAD Pro
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Ability to foster communication within diverse cultural environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysis and design of steel structures (Topside modules)
• Preparation of detailed calculation reports.
• Checking of drawings and documents.
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines for inputs and technical issues
• Participates in Model Reviews and other project related workshops.
• Review of Subcontractors/ Vendor documents for technical compliance.
• Prepares quantity take offs.
• Support to filed engineering & Trouble shooting.
• Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.

Main Tasks:

• Design of steel structures ((Deck / Topside modules, Pipe rack , Equipment supports, platforms, connection deign, pipe supports etc. , )
• Issue of deliverables with required quality as per project schedules.
• Providing inputs to drafting team and guiding them in preparing design drawings
• Follow up of inter discipline comments and their resolution including clash resolution.
• Clarifications/solutions to site queries/issues.
