Instrumentation Designer

We are looking for Instrumentation Modelers / Designers with following skill set in EPC / PMC projects to join our team based in Chennai, India and work at our site in Assam.

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of 3D and 2D tools (S3D / E3D/ PDMS / AUTOCAD / Smart sketch / MicroStation / SPR)
• 3D Modeling of Cable trays, cable trench / Duct bank, Conduits, Instrumentation Equipment, Stanchions and various types of supports.
• 2D drawing extraction from 3D software.
• Preparation of Instrumentation layouts such as Control room, Instrument, Fire and Gas, Telecom, Grounding, Cable tray, Cable trench etc.
• Preparation of BOM (Bill of Material) of various layouts.
• Interdisciplinary coordination and Clash Resolution.
• Preparation of hookup drawings, level sketches, MCT drawings, MTO Reports Block Diagram.
• Preparation of Cable Routing Reports.
• Understanding of instrumentation standard installation details.
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed other duties as assigned

About You

Accredited three (3) year diploma or global equivalent in technical field of study, and minimum work experience of 6 years, ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guideline
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e- mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
