Executive - Technical / Sr. Executive Technical

As a SOLIDWORKS Applications Engineer / Executive - Technical/ Sr. Executive - Technical you have a great opportunity to use your Mechanical Engineering knowledge to help develop and support some of the most innovative companies. This could be on-site consulting with our customers, in the classroom delivering a training course or working on the support desk resolving specific issues. As part of the Worlds Most Qualified SOLIDWORKS Technical Team, you are encouraged to develop your CAD/CAE & PLM capabilities, The learning curve is steep but definitely worthwhile. Understanding how SOLIDWORKS is used in many different industries to develop many different products means you're never short of new experiences and the opportunity to travel.

In this position you will interact with design, manufacturing, general engineering and management department at customer locations to understand their technical and business challenges and to propose solutions from SolidWorks and its affiliated partner products. This position demands 30% to 40% travel to meet customers.

There will also be opportunities to take part in marketing events, seminars, webcasts and trade shows to show what our products can do for the engineering community

Role & responsibilities

• Engage with prospective customers to understand their workflow and use this knowledge to recommend effective solutions from the SolidWorks suite of products.
• Conducting pre sales demonstrations of our software solutions to prospective customer.
• The ability to understand the needs of our customers and to work closely with them and others in our extensive technical support team to present solutions to meet client needs.
• Be a certified Application Engineer as per the norms of Dassault Systemes SolidWorks.
• The ability to work with our customer base across a wide range of industries providing proactive advice and exceptional customer service.
• Present webinars covering specialized modelling topics that are broadcast to general audience of SOLIDWORKS users and potential users. In this role, you will work with the Technical Marketing Team to develop and present relevant technical material.
• Complete the customer engagement activity assigned to you and document the same by engaging with your team.
• Provide technical support, via email and phone, by addressing technical questions, providing guidance, advice, and modelling assistance in a wide variety of application

Preferred candidate profile

• Should Have Good Understanding on Mechanical Engineering Concepts
• Should have good Communication Skills
• Knowledge of FEA & CFD Simulation would be an added Advantage.
• Candidate should have 2 Wheeler for commuting to customer place.
