Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Technical Engineer to join our team. The Technical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of facade lighting systems. Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Engineer or similar role, preferably in the facade lighting or architectural design industry.
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of lighting systems, electrical components, and building automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, lighting designers, and clients to understand project requirements.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and schematics for lighting systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of facade lighting systems.
- Coordinate with construction teams, electricians, and other trades for smooth project execution.
- Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks to verify system functionality and performance.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to lighting systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans and schedules for client facilities.
- Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenses, and specifications.
- Provide timely updates and reports to management and clients.
- Collaborate closely with clients to address technical inquiries and concerns.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations during client meetings and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent service delivery.
