Senior Next.js Developer - Javascript/TypeScript (6-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Next.js Developer with a strong background in building scalable web applications and hands-on experience with Contentful CMS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, SCSS, Tailwind, Bootstrap, and unit testing. The role also requires a solid understanding of relational databases (RDBMS). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing web applications while ensuring code quality through unit testing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using Next.js.

- Integrate and manage content through Contentful CMS.

- Implement responsive, pixel-perfect designs using HTML, SCSS, Tailwind and Bootstrap.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices.

- Develop and maintain APIs for data exchange between the front end and back end.

- Utilize relational databases (RDBMS) to store, manage, and retrieve data efficiently.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to established standards.

- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across development and production environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, QA engineers) to deliver high-quality software on time.

- Experience in writing the Unit Test Cases

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in front-end development, specifically with Next.js.

- Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS or other headless CMS solutions.

- Proficiency in modern web development technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6/ES7), and TypeScript.

- Strong experience with Bootstrap or other responsive design frameworks.

- Working experience on RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

- Proficient in version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.

- Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience building cross-browser, cross-device applications.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of GraphQL.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Understanding of headless architecture and Jamstack principles.
