Automation Test Engineer - Web/Mobile App Testing (1-2 yrs)

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer with a blend of development and testing skills to ensure our products are robust, efficient, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Position Summary :

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, maintaining testing frameworks, and ensuring high-quality performance across web and mobile platforms.

You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to improve test coverage and drive product quality, utilizing your expertise in both automation and QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications using JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Webdriver.io, and other tools.

- Implement and manage API automation tests, and ensure integration with Postman for validating endpoints.

- Set up CI/CD pipelines for testing automation with GitHub Actions and ensure continuous testing workflows.

- Conduct load testing using JMeter and optimize performance to handle large user loads.

- Perform accessibility testing for websites and mobile apps, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

- Design, develop, and execute performance and load tests to assess the system's scalability and stability.

- Collaborate with the development team to define and document test cases, and work with QA to ensure complete coverage.

- Leverage AWS for setting up scalable test environments and ensure testing resilience.

- Actively participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation scripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role with development and testing responsibilities.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, NPM, and TypeScript for automation scripting.

- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation and deployment processes.

- Proficient in API automation testing using tools like Postman.

- Solid experience with Webdriver.io for front-end test automation.

- Knowledge of JMeter for load testing, and a good understanding of performance testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with AWS environments and managing test setups on the cloud.

- Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques for web and mobile applications.

- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications :

- B.Tech in Computer Science.

- Experience with mobile testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with Agile development processes and test-driven development.

- Understanding of security testing and its importance in automation.
