Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mendix UI and Development specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly applications using the Mendix platform. You will also play a key role in implementing Progressive Web App (PWA) functionalities to deliver offline and native-like experiences for our users.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for Mendix applications, adhering to best practices and accessibility guidelines.
- Implement complex UI components and interactions using Mendix widgets, native UI components, and JavaScript.
- Build Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) with Mendix, optimizing for offline functionality, performance, and native-like user experience.
- Integrate with external APIs and services using various methods (REST, SOAP, OAuth).
- Perform unit testing and contribute to end-to-end testing efforts.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Mendix developments and best practices.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.
Qualifications :
- 4-6 years of experience in Mendix development with proven ability to deliver high-quality applications.
- Advanced Certified Mendix Developer or equivalent expertise.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Progressive Web App (PWA) development best practices.
- Mendix Native Mobile Apps Development knowledge is an added advantage.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Experience with integrating external systems and APIs.
- Experience with UX/UI design principles.
