Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Data Solutions Architect to join our team
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing large scale data solutions that meet business objectives, while also ensuring the data is accurate, available, and secure
As a Data Solutions Architect, you will need to understand the data needs of the business, work with stakeholders to build data models, and develop ETL processes to move and transform data between systems
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience with big data technologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
At this role level, you will be;
- Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
- Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of data systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver integrated data solutions
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the organizations data capabilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers and analysts
- Design and implement scalable and high-performance data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet current and future needs
Required skills set and requirement:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modelling, and database design
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data integration solutions
- Proven experience with leading data warehouse platforms (e
g
, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google Big Query)
- Hands-on experience with a variety of programming languages, databases (e
g
, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), and technologies
- Proficient work with Power Query / Power Pivot, PySpark, Fabric
- Proficient in working with Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS Applications (ADO, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, etc
)
- Leverage domain expertise in Cloud & Digital Transformation, Data Management, Integration, Analytics, and Security
