Assistant Manager - Accounts (2-4 yrs)

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Processing:

- Process financial transactions with a high level of accuracy, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulations.

- Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial ledgers to maintain data integrity.

- Assist with GST calculations and filings (if applicable).

- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) to generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, or potential discrepancies.

- Prepare clear and concise reports to communicate financial performance and insights to internal stakeholders.

Communication & Collaboration:

- Maintain effective communication with the Geo Operations team regarding financial matters and data requests.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with external stakeholders (if applicable), such as vendors and customers.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial processes and data integration.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial statements, and Indian accounting regulations (including GST).

- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Book Closure processes.

- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.

- Ability to analyze financial data and generate insights for informed decision-making.

- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
