Commissioning Electrical Engineer - Reliance Industries Ltd

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Solar Commissioning Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that solar power systems are designed, installed, and operated correctly, meeting the required performance and reliability standards. Your primary focus will be on commissioning solar power systems, identifying and resolving any electrical defects or issues during the commissioning process, and ensuring that the systems are handed over to the clients in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough site visits to inspect solar power systems and identify any potential electrical defects or issues
• Perform commissioning tests and inspections to ensure that the solar power system is functioning correctly and meets the required specifications
• Identify and resolve any electrical defects or issues during the commissioning process, including electrical faults, misconnections, and equipment malfunctions
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure that all electrical components are properly installed and configured
• Develop and implement test procedures to verify the electrical performance of the solar power system
• Conduct electrical testing of the solar power system to ensure that it meets the required performance standards
• Identify and address any potential electrical safety hazards or issues during the commissioning process
• Provide technical support to clients during the commissioning process, including troubleshooting and resolving any electrical defects or issues
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all systems are properly integrated and functioning correctly
• Maintain accurate records of all commissioning activities, including test results, inspections, and defects found
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement electrical testing protocols to verify the performance of the solar power system
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical defects or issues during the commissioning process
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all systems are properly integrated and functioning correctly

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in solar/wind power system commissioning
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Experience with inverters, controllers, and other power system components
• Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and procedures
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and instruments
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and data acquisition software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's / bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
