Demand Planning Executive

What you will do:

1) Create consensus demand plan using JDA software. Generate Statistical forecast. Identify least accurate forecasts. Add market intelligence and product knowledge to understand new win / loss and innovation. Work with marketing on new products introduction and demand for next 6 months.

2) Align on consensus demand plan. Work with finance and provide financial sales forecast to all stakeholders. Align volume forecast with revenue forecast.

3) Evaluate demand constraints as per demand forecast and communicate financial impact to all stakeholders.

4) Drive Executive Sales & Operations Planning with Business Leaders and follow-up actions

5) Collaborate with Supply Planners and all relevant stakeholders to understand Demand changes to work on supply mitigation plans

6) Develop and maintain statistical models for demand forecasting.

7) Analyze historical sales data, seasonality, and market trends.

8) Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to understand business strategies.

9)Create and manage demand forecasts, identifying opportunities and risks.

10) Develop and implement inventory management strategies.

11) Monitor and adjust forecasts based on market changes.

12) Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

13) Provide insights to inform production planning, pricing, and promotions.

14) Develop and maintain reporting dashboards.

Requirements:

1. Qualification: B.E. Chemical Engineering / B.E. Mechanical Engineering / MBA

2. 4 to 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or analytics.

3. Proficient in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP).

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

6. Ability to work with large datasets.

7. Knowledge of inventory management principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in related field.

2. APICS certification.

3. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

4. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms.
