Job Description

Role Summary

In today s fast-paced tech landscape, we re seeking an innovative Digital Specialist who combines technical acumen, creativity, and a proactive mindset to tackle complex and simple business challenges. This role is not tied to a single technology stack but instead demands a flexible approach to identifying and implementing technology-driven solutions to optimize sales, pre-sales, sales operations, and customer-facing processes. This is a business-focused role (not part of the IT department) that will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving process automation and digital transformation within our Sales/Pre-Sales functions. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of various technologies and tools, coupled with a passion for solving business problems through automation, experimentation, innovative digital solutions including next-gen digital solutions like AI/Gen-AI to address complex business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Automation & Simplification:

Identify and implement automation opportunities within sales and pre-sales processes to drive operational efficiency and minimize manual work.

Develop and deploy scalable digital solutions to enhance customer-facing interactions.

2. Tech-Driven Business Solutions

Utilize a range of technologies (programming languages, automation tools, low/no-code platforms) to solve wicked and complex business problems.

Serve as a "jack of all trades" with the ability to experiment with multiple tools and approaches to identify the best solutions.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with sales, pre-sales, and customer success teams to understand business pain points and design tailored solutions that meet specific needs.

Work with stakeholders to identify gaps in current processes and recommend improvements leveraging technology.

4. Experimentation & Innovation

Drive a culture of experimentation and innovation by piloting new technologies and solutions, rapidly iterating to improve functionality and usability.

Encourage continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies within the team.

5. Data-Driven Insights & Reporting

Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to track the impact of digital initiatives on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis to guide future improvements and investments.

Exceptional Excel skills, including advanced expertise in creating macros and managing data cubes, with top-class ability in building business reports and data visualizations to support strategic decision-making.

Outcomes

1. Successfully deploy 3-5 new digital solutions within the first year that directly contribute to business outcomes.

2. Demonstrate clear ROI on digital initiatives by improving customer engagement metrics by 10%.

3. Deliver measurable solutions with a focus on business outcomes, achieving a minimum 70%+ reduction in cycle times for key processes.

Skills Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in a variety of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.), automation tools, and platforms (e.g., Power Automate, RPA).

Experience with low/no-code platforms, CRM, digital platforms/systems, and other business process management tools.

Ability to develop, test, and deploy digital solutions across multiple environments.

Business Acumen:

Understanding of sales/pre-sales processes and customer-facing operations.

Ability to translate business requirements into tech-driven solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Hands-on ability in translating business requirements into IT requirements so for IT team to take it starting for implementation.

Problem-Solving:

Demonstrated ability to experiment, iterate, and innovate with emerging technologies to solve complex problems.

Experience with design thinking and agile methodologies is a plus.

Collaboration & Communication:

Ability to work cross-functionally with teams to understand business challenges and collaborate on the best tech solutions.

Strong communication skills to articulate technical solutions in a business-friendly manner.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

A master s degree or relevant certification in automation, data analytics, or business technology is a plus.

10+ years of coding experience with various languages, tools, and platforms.

Hands-on experience with new-age tools/technologies including AI/GenAI, low-code-no-code platforms, SharePoint, MS tools and PowerApps etc.
