Mechanical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1.Should have good knowledge about the different types of HVAC systems in the industry

2. Studying the HVAC design and drawings given by the consultants and explaining to the contractors for the execution of the works and reviewing the Shop drawings from contractors.

3. Suggesting optimizations in routings and system designs.

4. Supervision and Coordination with Consultants, Contractors and PMCS for execution of HVAC works at project site and reporting to the managers at site and office.

5. Coordinating with Internal team at site and office for the smooth functioning of site and for the Client supply materials.

6. Witnessing the installations, conducting tests, and making sure that the work is carried out with the proposed quality and document it as per the provided checklists and test certificates.

7. Filling the activity check lists and quality check lists in various stages of project and documenting it.

8. Cross checking the supplied materials and the works carried out by the contractors for the quality and standards prescribed as per the approved design details and technical details submittals.

9. Taking and cross checking the site measurements for the Installed items.

10. Cross checking the bills raised by contractors against issued work orders and material specifications.

11. Scheduling the works and following up the work schedule with the vendors.

12. listing out and quantifying the client supply items and facilitating for the material arrangement.

13. Knowledge and experience in Commissioning various HVAC systems, check lists preparations and documentation.

14. Creating, collecting, organizing in proper format of all the technical details, handing over documents, Check lists, Reports, drawings and handing it over to the operations team.

15. Snagging the HVAC services and getting those rectified with contractors which are raised during the execution, commissioning and handing over.

16. Keep track on the latest development in the field for making the installed systems up to date.

17. Experience in using the HVAC software, Auto Cad, BIM software and Microsoft office software.

18. Exposure in HVAC systems specially in hotel & resort construction division.

19. Should be ready to travel across locations.
