Senior Engineer - Frontend

Role Overview:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing high-quality, scalable, and efficient frontend applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences. Your expertise in Next.js, API integration, and third-party integrations will be vital in driving our projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Build responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js, ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
• API Integration: Design and implement robust API integrations to connect frontend applications with backend services and third-party tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional user interfaces while maintaining the integrity of the design.
• Code Quality: Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the frontend team.
• Deployment: Manage frontend build processes and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth releases and efficient workflows.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative environment.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest frontend technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the team and projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• API Integration: Solid experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with third-party services.
• Deployment Tools: Familiarity with frontend build tools and deployment processes (e.g., Webpack, CI/CD).
• Responsive Design: Expertise in building responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible applications.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and related workflows.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
