We are seeking a skilled - Oracle Utilities MDM Specialist to implement, customize, and support Meter Data Management systems. The role involves working closely with utility clients to streamline data management processes, optimize meter-to-cash workflows, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Implementation and Configuration :
- Deploy and configure Oracle Utilities MDM solutions to meet client requirements.
- Customize MDM processes, including validation, estimation, and editing (VEE) rules.
- Integrate MDM with utility systems like Oracle CC&B, SAP, and other CIS/OMS systems.
2. Data Management :
- Manage and maintain meter data repositories.
- Design and optimize workflows for data collection, processing, and storage.
3. Development and Integration :
- Develop custom extensions using Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Create interfaces using SOAP/REST APIs for external system communication.
4. Support and Troubleshooting :
- Analyze and resolve issues related to MDM functionalities, integrations, and performance.
- Provide post-implementation support and enhancements.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather and refine requirements.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for system adoption.
Required Skills :
Technical Expertise :
- Strong experience with Oracle Utilities MDM (Meter Data Management).
- Proficiency in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and Java.
- Understanding of VEE processes and meter data lifecycle management.
- Experience with - WebLogic, Oracle DB , and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of integration tools and protocols (SOAP/REST, batch jobs, middleware).
Functional Knowledge :
- Familiarity with utility business processes such as meter to cash , billing, and service orders.
- Experience with multi-channel metering systems (AMI, smart meters, etc.).
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications in Oracle Utilities or related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with other Oracle Utilities applications like CC&B, WAM, or Lodestar.
- Knowledge of cloud-hosted MDM solutions and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Educational Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
