Manager - Finance Accounts/Audit/IGAAP/IFRS - Pharma - CA (6-10 yrs)

Area of accountability : Accounting & Financial Analysis

Main activities:

- Preparation of statutory accounts as per Ind AS & GAAPs for local reporting.

- Preparation of half yearly & Annual accounts as per IFRS for group consolidation.

- Set up the local SOP and internal rules under the supervision and approval of the local management.

- Providing financial and non-financial perspectives for strategic discussions and participate in and advise the general management of the company for steps needed for performance improvement.

- Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from budget or financial forecasts.

- Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making by senior management.

- Implement new systems or enhancements to streamline financial operations and reporting.

- Review of Audited Account's reporting in XBRL format.

Area of accountability : Audit Management

Main activities:

- Plan and coordinate internal audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.

- Review and approve the accounting details provided to auditors.

- Study the Variance analysis.

- Implement and oversee corrective actions for audit findings and recommendations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting and audit functions.

Expected results: Completion of audit in time & quality, without any deviation as per group guidelines.

Area of accountability no.3: Taxation

Main activities:

- Computation of Income and calculating the tax liability.

- Filing income tax returns for MNC India & Group companies before the due dates.

- Preparation of 3CD for Tax Audit.

- Assisting in Transfer Pricing Audit.

- Assisting in Income Tax Assessments & Appeal Proceedings.

Expected results: Payments are done as per the tax laws.

Area of accountability no.4:

Main activities:

- Educational level or equivalent experience: CA

- Total number of years' experience required to fulfil the role: minimum 6-10 yrs of experience.

- Career pre-requisites: Proven experience of financial reporting, taxation & audit in MNC.
