Revenue & Project Accountant - Infra - CA (5-8 yrs)

CA, IFRS 15, Project accounting, Revenue accounting & FP&A experience are must requirements

A) Revenue accounting:

- Ensuring high technical standards and accounting compliance in line with IFRS15

- Preparation of IFRS15 papers for the company's various contracts with customers, and monitoring of actual revenue recognized and cashflows received against each contract on a monthly basis

- Reviewing large and complex contracts in accordance with IFRS15, and working with the group financial controller and India finance team on areas of accounting complexity

- Providing technical guidance and support and response to ad hoc queries from group finance, local controllers and the Commercial and Sales functions

- Being the subject matter expert for internal projects that have an effect on revenue recognition and expected cashflows from projects

- Maintaining the project costing calculations by project

- Being responsible for revenue recognition policies and updates to the companny Accounting Procedures

- Supporting local and regional controllers in revenue recognition under IFRS 15 Contracts with Customers

- Proactively working with local sales teams in UK and India on bids and quotes and commercial contract management

- Working with procurement team to negotiate best credit terms and prices with suppliers

- Ensuring compliance with the Group's minimum internal control framework

- Liaising with external auditor and ensuring groupwide compliance is met for the revenue and project costing areas of the business

- Monthly revenue forecasting

B) Project cost accounting:

- Liaise with Sales, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing and Engineering to prepare all costing data relating to the projects being deployed by the company

- Liaise with HR ~& Engineering to establish and maintain robust timesheet reporting system to monitor and report on a timely basis on all engineering costs relating to R&D and customer projects to allow accurate reporting under relevant heads and accounting standards.

- Review and update if applicable all Bill of Materials relating to products being sold in India. Ensure costing models are always updated with the latest costing information

- Preparation of annual financial budgets to support business plan

- Analysis of spending and cashflow variances against budget

- Cost of sales and gross margin analysis by project and monthly reconciliation of stock across the group

- Project p&l and cashflow reporting

- Cashflow forecasts on a monthly basis, ensuring cash inflows are forecast in accordance with customer contracts

- Liaise with Senior Management Team to deliver key performance metrics and support the delivery of strategic objectives

- KPI management

C) Other including Financial Planning & analysis

- Working with sales team and oversee sale invoice process and monitoring customer payments

- Forecasting in collaboration with Business Development and Operations team

- Variance analysis against the Budget

- Managing Project cash flows

- Support in bidding process

- Attending Product Build meetings

- Capitalisation of R&D projects

- Act as one of the primary contacts for the Group year end audit (on IFRS 15 and other standards)

- Ad hoc projects to assist Group CFO / Group FC
