Role & responsibilities

We have an urgent requirement for SQL DBA Support for one of the banks in Aroli, Navi Mumbai India

 Responsibilities of SQL DBA Support :

• SQL server Installation &  Upgradation  (with/without cluster) and configuration
• Configuration, maintenance, availability, performance and security of all Microsoft SQL servers systems
• Base level knowledge of MySQL database, managing database backup & master /slave replication. 
• Good Knowledge and manageability of SQL jobs creation, schedule, maintenance &monitoring.
• Advance level knowledge of SQL Server in high-availability configurations like clustering, always on, database mirroring, log shipping & replication
• Hands experience and implementation for Database Encryption (TDE & Always Encrypt)
• Consolidation & Virtualization of SQL Database servers in cluster environment.
• Knowledge of BCP/DR and its periodic drill execution
• Expertise and worked on various SQL Server version SQL 2005 to 2022.
• Hands on experience on advance database level tuning and enhancements.
• Good Knowledge and suggestions on database designing
• Database patches, security, space & monitoring management
• SQL Server Monitoring towards SQL Services uptime, Error log, SQL Agent Schedule Job success/ failure event, windows eventlog, space monitoring
• Manage database backup/restore strategy and process accordingly.
• Performance tuning, suggestions and participation towards system bottleneck & its adequate and permanent solutions
• Hands on with SQL Profiler/Perfmon/Database Tuning Advisor
• Hands on with SQL Server and Database level audit, configuration its maintenance.
• Good knowledge and implementation awareness for SQL server native column level encryption & database audit.
• Ability to take additional responsibilities, act as active team member & open to feedback and knowledge transfer among the teammates.
