Role Objective - The role holder is responsible for the centralized management of a collection of projects and/or programs and their alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. The role involves overseeing the project portfolio management process, ensuring optimal performance, risk management, and resource allocation
Work Areas - Portfolio Strategy and Governance
Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Develop and maintain the portfolio management strategy, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
- Set governance standards and establish a framework for project prioritization, selection, and management
- Oversee the project portfolio planning process, balancing competing demands and evaluating potential project returns against risks.
- Conduct regular reviews of the portfolio to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement
Portfolio Performance Monitoring:
1: Monitor the health and performance of the portfolio by tracking key performance metrics and balanced scorecards.
2: Provide regular reporting to senior management on portfolio status, resource utilization, and overall investment performance
3: Delineate resource allocation strategies to ensure optimal utilization of resources across the project portfolio
Risk Management:
1: Drive change management processes across the portfolio, ensuring projects adapt to changing organizational needs.
2: Lead the portfolio review process to incorporate changes in strategic direction, shifts in priority, or business environment alterations
3: Promote the use of best practices in project and portfolio management across the organization.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of portfolio management processes
Project Management
1: Manage project planning with shortlisted vendors and associated departments, including the finalization of project budget, timelines, and operating plan.
2: Oversee end-to-end project management to ensure timely completion within the pre-decided budget and monitor project performance and recommend corrective actions for deviations
3: Derive periodic meetings and design strategies to facilitate improvement execution with business representatives and vendors/partners to review the progress of POCs.
4: Generate a comprehensive detailed operating plan and build continuous progress monitoring strategies, ensuring adherence to decided timelines and budgets

Skill Required:
1- Basic of AWS, Agile and Database.
2- Team management experience is mandatory.
3- Will handle the Team management, Vendor Management and Function Management.
4- Can drive the Project.
5- Automobile industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:
6.5 - 9 years of overall experience (GET)
