Senior Director - Finance - Fortune 100 MNC
Seeking a ROA(Rest of Asia) Finance Leader to support its USD regional business with high growth potential.
The role will have coverage for multiple business in India, ASEAN and Korea regions This is a key role and the selected individual will be accountable for partnering with the VP / GM global to drive profitable growth and strong return on investment (ROI) across all product lines while ensuring an environment of strong controllership and compliance.
This position directly reports to Vice President and Chief Finance Officer for Asia.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Take the leader role to build up yearly operation budgets and more importantly, drive the business to achieve the financial commitment of revenue, operation income and working capital.
- Financial Leadership for Planning and Forecasting - Annual Operating Plan (AOP), periodic forecasts, financial pulse, Strategic Plan.
- Support ROA strategy and act as a key business team leader during long-range strategic planning processes with specific responsibility for developing the long-range financial roadmap.
- Provide leadership and take appropriate actions to achieve AOP and work with operations leadership to develop and ensure a clear path to achieve productivity targets.
- Provide leadership to expand ROI through efficient deployment of capital investments, working capital and resources in ROA region.
- Driving Monthly MFR and Quarterly QBR process with all Sub-regions in ROA region.
- Function as a COO to drive profitable growth and strong balance sheet with highest integrity and compliance in ROA region.
- Perform market, customer and product analysis and digest internal processes to proactively identify both new opportunities and potential risks to future business performance. Build data driven culture and systems.
- Ensure alignment across functional organizations including Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, IT, HR and Marketing to achieve business commitments.
- Approve, monitor and review progress of New Product Introductions (NPI) in terms of investment and estimated completion to ensure growth targets are met.
- Strategically partner with ROA leadership team to drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing and action on pricing, new customer acquisition, new ventures, potential business acquisitions, product profitability and cost control.
- Lead reporting, forecasting and planning process for the ROA region, including distribution of appropriate financial targets for profitable growth of the various business segments and proactive analysis of the financial statements for opportunities to increase income.
- Build up strong and stable finance leadership team in ROA region, attract and develop key talents with solid succession plan for all key roles
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferred, Master's degree or MBA is a plus
- Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with an excellent academic record with a minimum of 18 years post qualification experience. A broad mix of experience across business finance, controllership and shared services desirable. Experience in a multi-product MNC environment
- Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically and influence business decisions using appropriate, fact-based financial information
- Proficient in ERP system(SAP/Oracle) and management reporting system Hyperion, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
- Strong leadership impact, profound people management skill

- Ability to develop strong partnerships and a collaborative, teaming environment within and across functional organizations.
Additional Qualifications:
- Asia Pacific regional experience is plus, different country culture in Asia awareness is important in this role
- Experience providing finance support in a manufacturing environment
- Act as COO (Chief Operational Officer), go beyond and lead/motivate the entire organization to deliver the result and be a business partner to the ROA business leader
- Strong interpersonal skills are a critical success factor for this role, including: assertiveness, impactful communication style with ability to influence actions/business decisions, high energy level with a bias for action, high credibility/respect from colleagues and customers, and a positive, gets-things-done attitude.
