Job Description

T&C Engineers is looking for Sr Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

Test Planning and Strategy: Develop test plans, strategies, and methodologies for software testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate software functionalities, ensuring that they meet specifications and user requirements
Test Execution: Execute test cases, perform manual or automated testing, analyze results, and report defects or inconsistencies to development teams for resolution
Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools to expedite testing processes
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities
Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to assess system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness under varying conditions
Defect Management: Manage defect tracking, triage issues, prioritize fixes, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and metrics, providing insights into testing progress and results
Skills and Qualifications:Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding and experience with various software testing methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc
Test Automation: Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks, along with the ability to write and maintain test scripts using programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, HP Quality Center, or similar tools for test management and defect tracking
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze software requirements, identify test scenarios, and design effective test cases to ensure maximum test coverage
Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate testing strategies, report defects, and present test results
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing
