Magento Developer (3-6 yrs)

Role : Magento Developer

Location : Bangalore or Gurgaon (hybrid) - 2 days per week

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement custom Magento 2.x solutions, including themes, extensions, and integrations.

- Migrate existing Magento 1 stores to Magento 2.x, ensuring seamless transition and data integrity.

- Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable Magento websites and applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Magento installations and configurations.

- Develop and maintain user-friendly and engaging front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

- Integrate with third-party systems and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers).

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and QA engineers.

- Strong understanding of Magento architecture and best practices.

- Experience with Magento 2.x development is essential.

- Experience with Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration projects is a significant plus.

- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a plus (e.g., Git, Jenkins).

Qualifications :

Experience : 3+ years of hands-on experience in Magento development.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Magento 2.x development, including themes, extensions, and customizations.

- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.

- Experience with PHP and other relevant backend technologies.

Other : Experience with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Agile methodologies is a plus
