Snowflake DB Developer - Data Warehousing (3-5 yrs)

Role : Snowflake Developer

About the Role :

As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses on the Snowflake platform.

You will work with large datasets, complex transformations, and data integration challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement efficient data models in Snowflake.

- Create and optimize data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate and analyze data.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Snowflake's built-in tools or external tools like dbt.

- Implement data governance policies and procedures.

- Ensure data security and privacy compliance.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Tune SQL queries and optimize data structures.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong SQL skills, including knowledge of SQL functions, procedures, and performance tuning techniques.

- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform.

- Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.

- Experience with data quality and data governance practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with data visualization tools (e. Tableau, Power BI)

- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
