Roles and Responsibilities

Understanding following technologies - DNS, Terminal Server Installation/licensing, Active Directory, IP Address and Subnets, DHCP, WAN, LAN, Basic Networking. concept, Power Shell commands, Scripting on DOS command, Shell script, basic windows script, Concept of load balancing, Cluster concepts, Basic Understanding of SAN and RAID Groups, Samba and Winbind, Analyzing System logs for Linux and Windows, Understanding of Monitoring Application( Differentiate between URL and Service monitoring).

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

Perform Daily Backup Operations (Veritas Backup), Ensuring All Required File Systems And System Data Are Successfully Backed Up To The Appropriate Media, Recovery.

Desired Candidate Profile

Good Communication skills A professional manner.

Should have sound and proven skills/ experience in :Desktop/Laptop Management.

Ability to work flexible hours and provide emergency coverage in a 24x7x365 environment.

Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment with short timelines and fast approaching deadlines.

Should have experience in System Administration/Windows Server / Data Center Support.

Candidate should have around 3 -6 years of relevant experience and good communication.

Should Have Knowledge Of Hardware Trouble Shooting In Desktop and Laptop, Parts Replacement.
