System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and versatile System Administrator supporting both Linux and Windows operating systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with system optimization, and a solid understanding of network configurations to ensure seamless and secure operations for both platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.
• Perform system installations, configurations, and upgrades on both Linux and Windows platforms.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues across both Linux and Windows environments.
• Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and group policies for Windows environments.
• Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls, VPNs, and security tools to ensure system security.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users for both Linux and Windows systems through ticketing system in chat support and call support.
• Install, configure, and maintain essential services (e.g., web servers, database servers, file servers) on both Linux and Windows servers.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems on both platforms.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator with hands-on experience in both Linux and Windows server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and Windows Server versions (e.g., 2016, 2019).
• Experience with server virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)) are a plus.
