Job Description
Job Description: Consultant_SAP_Plant Maintenance
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records.
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance efficiency and optimize equipment performance.
Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant maintenance.
Plant Maintenance Engineer
Required Skills
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external vendors.
Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
