Program Coordinator

Symbiosis Open Education Society (SOES) is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act on 9th May, 2008 and is also registered as a public trust under Bombay Public Trust Act on 10th Oct, 2008. Symbiosis Institute for Staff Training and Professional Development (SISTPD) has been established under the aegis of SOES. The primary goal of SISTPD is to design and deliver high-quality training, capacity-building, and professional development programs tailored for individuals working or aspiring to work in the fields of Education and Skill Development.

SISTPD invites applications from individuals for the role of Executive cum Administrative Assistant.

Work Location: Model Colony, Pune

Employment Type: Full Time

Educational Background: P.G. any degree, Background in education, administration, management or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and maintain Directors calendar and appointments.
  • To prepare various reports /presentations/drafts etc.
  • To maintain Office filing system, record keeping and documentation.
  • To update website, social media and digital channels.
  • To handle Office correspondence including e-mail / postal / telephonic correspondences/ drafting of letters and important communications.
  • To coordinate and follow up with various departments, entities pertaining to various activities required to be carried out for smooth functioning of SISTPD.
  • To make preparations for arranging various meetings.
  • To attend various meetings, noting minutes of the meeting, circulating actions points to the concerned staff, follow up for completion of actions points.
  • To assist in organizing various programs, events, functions, visits etc.
  • To provide and collect required data/details from various constituents and prepare Annual Reports.
  • To assist in creation of training materials, branding, marketing and other collaterals.
  • To perform any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Essential Qualification and Skills:

  • Prior Experience: 10 years experience in academia/industry/other types of Government or private organizations. Required experience of office administration and assistant role working directly with people in management and leadership roles. International exposure preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders in a congenial manner.
  • Communication and Language Skills: Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, proficiency in multiple languages preferred (e.g. Marathi, Hindi, English, etc.)
  • Technology: Advanced skills in office productivity software such as word, excel, power-point, etc. across platforms and devices.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Project Management: Task management, time management, project planning, scheduling, scoping, tracking, reporting.
  • Adaptability and Learning Mindset: Responsive to dynamic changes in the education ecosystem, self-learning and lifelong learning mindset.
