Role & responsibilities

The Sourcing Manager will lead the sourcing and procurement activities for the Glass Lined Equipment business, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and timely procurement of materials and components. This role will focus on vendor development, process optimization, and supporting the strategic goals of manufacturing glass-lined reactors by ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Core Competencies:

• Expertise in sourcing materials for engineering/manufacturing, preferably process equipment/ pressure vessel or similar industries.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong understanding of European/US customer market needs , certifications and standards
• Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes
• Deep understanding of logistics, inventory management, and sustainability practices.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and improve sourcing processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, production etc.)
• Masters in Supply Chain Management is an advantage
• 10-15 years of experience in sourcing, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in vendor development and strategic sourcing.
• Experience in the heavy engineering/pressure vessel industry is an added advantage.
• Experience of sourcing for Europe/US markets is preferred
