FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE:
Act as a functional expert for Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, CM, Bill Managemnt and related modules).
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Oracle Financials, translating them into functional specifications.
Provide expert guidance on financial best practices and system configurations.
Perform detailed business analysis, including system design, testing, and user training.
Support end-users with financial module-related issues and ensure efficient resolution of functional queries.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Design and implement integration strategies between Oracle EBS and other systems, including third-party applications, custom solutions, or cloud services.
Develop and configure Oracle EBS customizations, including reports, interfaces, and data migration.
Perform technical troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution for the EBS Financials modules.
Collaborate with developers to build or modify custom applications as required.
TESTING & QUALITY ASSURANCE:
Lead and/or assist in functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing of financial modules.
Ensure the timely identification and resolution of system defects.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of financial module transactions.
END-USER SUPPORT AND TRAINING:
Offer day-to-day functional and technical support to the business users on all financial-related issues.
Provide post-implementation support for ongoing improvements, enhancements, and fixes.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Lead or participate in Oracle Financials-related projects, including upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all activities are aligned with business goals.
Monitor project progress and handle escalations, ensuring all financial systems and processes are optimized.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE:
9+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials, including modules like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bill Management, and Cash Management (CM).
Experience in both functional configuration and technical aspects, including integrations and customizations.
Proven track record in financial process transformation and system implementation.
Experience in performing data migration, custom reporting, and financial analytics in Oracle EBS.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and technical components (PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Oracle Workflow, etc.).
Experience with Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle integration tools (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite).
Hands-on experience with EBS R12.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Financials is a plus.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and business processes in Oracle Financials.
Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and technical solutions.
Expertise in financial data flow, reconciliations, and period-end close processes.
SOFT SKILLS:
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
Strong documentation and training capabilities.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
