JOB PURPOSE
A Manager (Sales & Marketing) should have pleasant, good and impressive personality. Because he is ideal for medical representative and executives (for both, he is a complete solution and key leader between company and team). He always reads professional news and publications, articles. Discuss facts and points with his team and customers (doctors, chemists, stockists). Always meeting sales goals, motivations for sales and activities, emphasizing excellence, results driven, managing profitability. he has excellent knowledge of product merits, dose, competitor activity, skuâs knowledge, price, pack.
He always ready to solve real and on spot queries of his team and customers with all facts and proofs. He always carry the studies of his brand which support the communications present in brand folder of company. He always wear tie, polished professional shoes, formal shirts and pant and try to match the shoe and belt colour. He should have the data (secondary & stock statement, primary sale,, reporting status, customer coverage and call average) of all territory and discuss the respective data when he go for work in any territory. Also discuss the same thing with area manager and discuss the low activity part and tell to coworkers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
ï Must have experience of Critial Care/Operation Theatre/Surgeons.
ï He should be worked with the CMCHIS empanelled hospitals of Tamil Nadu.
ï Forecast & achievement of objectives
ï Managing and promoting the sales activities of company's products and services in the assigned region.
ï Implementing sales strategies and goals and also communicating them to key individuals.
ï Collaborating with senior management to establish and execute sales strategies for the region.
ï Building and maintaining relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals.
ï Developing specific plans to ensure growth for both long term and short term.
ï Encouraging customer retention, enhancing customer experience and expanding customer base.
ï Responsible for hiring, training and retaining sales team members for the assigned territory.
ï Managing the sales team (Executives and Sales representatives) in order to maximize sales revenue and meet
ï Ensure successful launch of new product
ï Core customer coverage by all medical representative and area manager
ï Develop relationship with key customer and ensure effective service and satisfaction
ï Coordination with RSM / HO
ï Coordination with organising committee for finalization of companyâs participation
ï Handle doctorâs opinions/ queries/ objections
ï Key stockist management inventory and outstanding
ï Recommendation for the addition and deletion of stockist based on merits and demerits
ï Always monitor, control and approve field manager expenses
ï Suggest for reduction in promotional activity expense
ï Ensures to maintenance of â NORMS AND STANDARD OF COMPANY POLICIESâ
Corporate set goals
ï Tracking productivity and daily monitoring.
ï Periodic Review of the sales team and upward reporting.
ï Reviewing the regional expenses & recommending improvements.
ï Collecting customer feedback as well as market research.
ï Monitoring the regional competitive activities.
Requirements and skills
ï He will give 15 names of hospitals. Among which he is well known.
ï He will give 30 names of Surgeons. He should be well known with the surgeons.
ï Target for the sale of Seraseal per month is Primary-150 vials and Secondary- 250 Vials.
ï He should be good motivator and leader
ï Bachelor's or Master's degree
ï Proven experience of 10 yrs in sales for Pharmaceutical/ Diagnostics/ Healthcare industry with Team Handling.
ï Good contact with doctors and healthcare professionals.
ï Excellent communication skills.
ï Customer acquisition.
ï Team worker and team builder.
ï Good interpersonal skills.
ï Ability to work under stress and resolve conflict.
ï Willingness to travel.
ï Good trainer and coach with excellent knowledge
ï Always able to handle the query & objections of dr.
ï Good analyser and have ability to handle the live situations
ï Good knowledge of respective area and core doctors
ï Have clear vision for his work
