About Viveka School of Excellence (VSOE)
Viveka School of Excellence (VSOE), established by the Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) in 2002, aims to demonstrate that quality education is accessible and affordable to rural communities. Over the past two decades, VSOE has evolved beyond being a mere CBSE school. It now serves as a community resource centre and a demonstration site for several recommendations outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

About VSOE Sainik School
In 2022, VSOE received recognition as a Sainik School from the Ministry of Defence. Unlike traditional CBSE schools, the Sainik School emphasizes holistic education, focusing not only on academics but also on physical and emotional well-being.

Currently, VSOE Sainik School consistently ranks among the top three new Sainik Schools in the Academic Plus areas, as evaluated by the Ministry. The school continues to evolve, with ongoing improvements in infrastructure and curricular offerings.

Currently, 128 students (6th & 7th and 8th std) are studying at the Sainik School. These students come from 9 states of India in addition to the local community. Our Sainik School is aimed at creating future leaders who will contribute to society in all walks of life in addition to a few of them aspiring to serve in the armed forces.

The school s leadership is spearheaded by Colonel Sudhir Chengappa, a Kargil Veteran who is the Director of VSOE, committed to fostering academic and personal excellence.
