Engineer - Development ( Electrical ) - Gurugram

Role & responsibilities:

Develop electrical parts such as Head Lamp, Tail Lamp, Wire harness, Ignition coil etc. Knowledge of SMT process, Harness manufacturing process.

Develop plastic parts of electrical parts (Fasteners, Handlebar etc.). Knowledge of Injection moulding process.

Review Tooling feasibility, Mould flow report and conduct Specification meeting with suppliers.

Reviewing & monitoring of development plan to meet the timelines and involve management whenever necessary.

Visit Tooling supplier & attend tool trials to ensure on time parts availability for vehicle trials

Co-ordination with internal departments to accomplish on time trial (Paint Shop, Assembly team, Purchase, Quality, PPC)

Co-ordination with Suppliers

Arrange & review ECN feasibility and lead time.

Ensure ECN implementation considering trial timelines

Benchmarking & Analysis of latest Competitor Vehicles and raw materials.

Cost reduction in parts through VA/VE.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate must be having experience in development of electrical parts.
