Java Full Stack Operations Engineer I - Night Shift (US Shift)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to implement our pre-approved UI, construct our API, and manage the end-to-end setup of our server infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to resolving deployment challenges. The position includes managing database design, application architecture, and ensuring system scalability.

Responsibilities:

Code Evaluation & Refactoring

• Review and refactor existing code to ensure optimal performance and maintainability.
• Eliminate risks associated with hardcoded secrets by implementing secure vault-based solutions.

Architecture & Design

• Design and implement scalable and efficient system architecture.
• Develop pixel-perfect UI as per pre-approved designs.
• Build and deploy databases, ensuring optimal design and management.

Development & Integration

• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate front-end interfaces with APIs.
• Implement socket count display and enable/disable toggle functionality in the UI.
• Debug code and analyze all tables related to socket scheduling to identify and resolve exceptions.
• Conduct rigorous testing, including handling database-related scenarios (e.g., DB lock or downtime).

Deployment & Troubleshooting

• Deploy services to multiple environments (e.g., E1, E2) while resolving deployment issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., testing, database, and deployment teams) to address configuration errors.
• Troubleshoot issues like environment-specific errors (e.g., invalid HSMaaS config parameters).
• Fix logger issues in SDK and create detailed documentation.

Documentation & Communication

• Update and organize comprehensive documentation, including SDK testing results, deployment instructions, and application changes.
• Maintain user stories with detailed comments and log hours effectively.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders and align configurations across teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Resolve security hotspots and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging web technologies and implement improvements.

Collaborative Support

• Work with team members to resolve deployment issues, test scenarios, and documentation.
• Align with testing teams to get the latest SDK documentation and update test cases accordingly.

Preferred Skills:

• Core Technical Skills: Java 7/8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data.
• Tooling Expertise: Maven, Jenkins, SVN, Git, Postman, Swagger, Tomcat.
• Database & Deployment: Strong database design and server management skills, with experience in secure information management (e.g., using vaults).
• Testing Proficiency: Experience implementing and testing various failure scenarios (e.g., DB down or locked).
• Security: Expertise in identifying and resolving security hotspots in the codebase.

Other Skills:

• Experience with front-end technologies, CSS preprocessors, and responsive design.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and update stakeholders regularly.
• Strong understanding of cross-platform optimization, mobile application performance, and scalability.
• Proficiency in documentation and communication, with attention to detail and organization.
